Welcome to Chrome Valley Lodge

We are delighted to welcome you to Chrome Valley Lodge.

Nestled in the most beautiful bush-field valley in the chrome-rich area of Steelpoort, this picturesque Lodge is an enchanting location for a peaceful retreat. The Lodge also offers the best local accommodation for visitors, workers and subcontractors to the local mines, or those visiting residents of Steelpoort, Lydenburg, Burgersfort, Orighstad or neighbouring townships.

What makes Chrome Valley Lodge unique is that it is situated very close to major mining and industry operations, and yet you will be located right in amongst a stretch of beautiful nature. The mines take a backseat when you’re at the Lodge, which is tucked away in the bushy hills and dales of the stunning Chrome Valley and Dwarsvivier region.

Your hosts are excited about sharing this jewel in the valley with you! It is our passion to provide the local mining, tourism and general industries with a place to come and relax, hold meetings, or just stay with us for a weekend break. Whether it is for business or pleasure, you will find the Lodge can perfectly accommodate your needs. Take a break from work, go on an outdoor adventure, or refresh your mind and spirit at Chrome Valley Lodge.

Our excellent restaurant is a fantastic venue to enjoy a delicious meal, book a function, or host a working lunch. We’re open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and provide buffet and a la carte dining. And don’t forget our relaxing, friendly bar for a cocktail or a cold beer.

We’re looking forward to making your visit a memorable one, so you will leave us refreshed, replenished by the beauty of our natural surrounds, and thoroughly satisfied with our warm, friendly hospitality.
